1. The cooling-off right

A consumer normally has fourteen days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. A DXF is digital content supplied without a tangible medium: there is no physical item to return.

Under Article 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code, for a paid purchase the right is lost when performance of the digital supply has begun and all of these conditions have been met:

• the consumer gave prior express consent to begin supply during the withdrawal period;
• the consumer acknowledged that this would result in losing the right of withdrawal;
• the consumer received confirmation of the contract and these declarations on a durable medium under Article 51(7).

This does not waive every right to a refund. It does not arise simply because a product is digital or because general terms have been accepted.

2. Consent to an immediate download

The purchase process requires specific declarations, with no preselected boxes, separately from acceptance of the general terms:

These declarations are recorded with the order and reproduced in the contract confirmation. If you do not want immediate supply, contact the practice before buying to discuss delivery after the withdrawal period. There is currently no online deferred-delivery option.

3. A faulty file or one that differs from its description

If a file will not open, is damaged, lacks promised content or does not match its description, contact us with the order reference, design code, software used and a short description of the issue. Do not send full card details or passwords.

Consumers benefit from the protections in Articles 135-octies onwards of the Italian Consumer Code. Where the legal conditions apply, the content must be brought into conformity free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. In the cases provided by law, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund is available.

A software configuration issue or an adaptation request is not necessarily a defect in the file: the practice will assess the actual issue against the promised characteristics. We do not apply a blanket “no refunds on digital products” rule.

4. Contacting support

Email salvatorecolangelo92@gmail.com with “DXF support” and the order reference, if available, in the subject. Use the same address for a duplicate charge or a confirmed payment without file access.

Where a refund is due, it will be made without undue delay and within the applicable legal time limits, normally using the original payment method and without extra charges to the consumer. A refund following valid withdrawal is made within fourteen days of the withdrawal notice.

The chatbot can explain how to seek support, but the practice assesses requests and refunds.

5. Where a right of withdrawal exists

You can communicate your decision to withdraw by an explicit statement. The optional wording below can be copied into an email:

Article 54-bis of the Italian Consumer Code requires an online withdrawal function throughout the period in which the right exists, with acknowledgement on a durable medium. The deadline concerns submission of the withdrawal statement, rather than later assessment or refund. Starting digital supply with valid consent may exclude the cooling-off right; it does not exclude remedies for non-conforming files.

6. Withdraw from contract here

When the function is available, you will be able to enter your name, contract reference and contact email, check the summary and choose “Confirm withdrawal”. You will not have to give a reason.

The active form will record the statement and prepare a personal receipt with its content, a reference and the submission date and time. The intended confirmation method is a digital copy to save to your device; automatic delivery of an email copy is not provided. The receipt documents submission, rather than a completed refund, and does not change your statutory rights.
